The national drink of Peru, a Peruvian pisco sour is made with pisco, an egg white, lime juice, simple syrup, then topped with bitters. With fruity notes and a creamy consistency that’s as smooth as butter, this cocktail will have you savoring each and every sip. This is my family's recipe - and we are Peruvian so you know it has to be good.
Remember - this is for 2 servingsJarabe de goma can be ordered online. Simple syrup may be used as a substitute, but if you want a true authentic pisco sour, please try the jarabe de goma.
To make a simple syrup:
Add ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water to a small saucepan over medium heat.
